About Us
Michelle Matteoli Adams, OTR/L, IMC is the owner and one of the occupational therapists here at Pediatric Therapy Solutions, Inc.
Michelle Matteoli Adams, OTR/L, IMC graduated in 2001 with Honors from the University of Florida with her Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy and shortly after graduation founded Pediatric Therapy Solutions, Inc. During this time, Michelle has also served on the Family Network on Disabilities of Manatee and Sarasota, Inc as a board member, newsletter editor, and fundraiser for both Manatee and Sarasota counties. She co-founded B.I.A.S.D., Biological Interventions for the Autistic Spectrum Disorders, a support group for parents of children on the autism spectrum. Kristin Coad is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She graduated in 2004 from State College of Florida. After graduating she worked in a pediatric outpatient clinic in St. Petersburg, FL where she primarily focused on treatment based in Sensory Integration. She later took some time off and moved to Jacksonville, FL where she focused on being at home with her three young children and working part-time at an adult rehab facility. Spending most of her life involved with non-profit, church, and various ministries and programs geared toward children has given Kristin a unique ability to have a special way with kids. Kristen Timmons is our Administrative Assistant. She graduated from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY in 2008 with a B.S. in Business Administration and minors in Psychology and Human Resources. She is from a small town in Upstate New York and has lived in the Sarasota-Bradenton area for the past 3 years. Kristen enjoys working with children and is glad to be a part the PTS team. Mary Williams is a licensed speech-language pathologist. She graduated in 2005 from University of Central Florida with her Bachelors in Communication Disorders. She graduated in 2008 from Appalachian State University with her Masters in Communication Disorders. After graduating, she worked in an outpatient pediatric facility in Melbourne, FL. She has worked with children with a range of diagnoses including: autism spectrum disorder, apraxia of speech, articulation disorders, expressive/receptive language delays, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. Laney London, COTA/L graduated from the State College of Florida in 2004 as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. She began working as a special needs teacher in 2004, and pursuing a focus in pediatrics. Laney has worked with children of varying exceptionalities for eight years, with a specialty in Autism Spectrum Disorders. She has served as an officer for the South Bay OT Forum, and has been a member of the Advisory Committee for State College of Florida's OTA program for 7 years.
